Brazilan Martial Arts: Capoeira Sparring

After my Capoeira Knock Out post I did some more browsing and found this video of Capoeira sparring. Its very slow, deliberate and controlled, that way no one gets hurt. Also it helps strenghten the stabilizing muscles and increase balance.

  1. Hmm...interesting to watch them work in slow motion so I can see what's happening. I see how this is an awesome training session, but why do their kicks hurt? Where is the leverage? How do they push power through when they're upside down?
